Celebrate Fat Tuesday at the Melting Point!

Ike Stubblefield has consistently brought us very talented lineups every night that he plays. For Fat Tuesday, he has absolutely out-done himself with a killer evening of music to celebrate to! Ike’s Mardi Gras Band is led by Ike, who started playing keyboards in 1968, and has performed with such greats as The Four Tops, Martha Reeves, The Tempations, and MORE. Joining him is June Yamagishi (from the hit TV show Treme, and Papa Grows Funk). Supporting Ike’s Mardi Gras Band is Half Dozen Brass Band, the ONLY New Orleans-Style brass band in Athens, GA! Tickets for this show are on sale now, so make sure to grab yours and join us for a fantastic night of music and celebration!

Soup Fest is Almost Here!

The 3rd Annual Classic City Soup Fest is here! Brought to you by the Classic City Chefs (American Culinary Federation, Athens Chapter), Soup Fest is a city-wide soup cook-off to raise money for the United Way and Project Safe! From 11am-2pm, enjoy live music as you taste freshly prepared soups from some of Athens’ premier restaurants and local chefs (including the Athens Country Club, Heirloom Café, La Dolce Vita, and more!). Purchase tickets at the event to taste the soups, and vote for the grand champion! This charitable event is open to the public, so bring your family!

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, October 7th! Foundry Entertainment has also found some choice musical entertainment for this special event, with veteran performer Dave Howard playing originals and covers through the afternoon.
